Vocademy Makerspace Founder & Organizer Gene Sherman | OC Mini Maker Faire

Jan 20, 2014

Vocademy is an idea that Gene Sherman Founder & Organizer has had for many years. A place that teaches “hands-on” vocational, shop and Do-It-Yourself (DIY) skills.  A “dream workshop” for those in the community that want to learn, build, create and become “Makers.” Gene wants to bring back the “shop class for everyone!” Vocademy is a brand-new local makerspace located in the heart of the Inland Empire. Vocademy is part of the growing movement of hands-on, collaborative learning environments in which people come together to share knowledge and to design, create, and make anything they want. Vocademy offers many different classes such as wood shop, machine shop, 3D printing, welding and fab, sewing, and much more.

New year, New skills, New you – 2014 is bringing a calendar packed with new classes, new equipment, SkillSets, and big savings for you – all at Vocademy. See Class Schedule.
